For the past two weeks this is what i have been sleeping on/in. You can't really tell from the picture but that dented space is not flat it is in fact a hole. i have been sleeping in a cave/ pit for the past two weeks. Not like many pits this one is really comfortable and doesn't leave me achy in the morning as most people would think. As i was thinking of my pit i decided that "pit" was not a very good name, instead i call it "The Love Sack!" Maybe it will help my love life out here in Dutch John, with the population of 200. This doesn't include the fine young men in my single adult group!

Home away from Home
Going from Snow College to home (for a week) to Dutch John has been a hard transition. It involved a lot of washing clothes, packing clothes, and saying too many goodbyes. Even though it was hard to leave Snow College and Provo, I'm still glad i moved. This move was a great opportunity to live with Amber, Ryan and Josie and being able to have a better relationship with them!
Dutch John is my home FAR AWAY (three hours and 20 minutes) from home.
As you can see it has a lovely yard for me to practice my soccer skills, and it looks very cozy inside. which by the way, it is.

First day of work at trout creek
Most people are nervous on their first day of work on a new job, but I'm not like most people. i have to admit i wasn't extremely nervous the first day of my new job. i knew the first day is always the same thing with every job. They tell you all you need to know to get you through the day. Things like where the cleaning supplies are, where you go if you need to restock something, show you all the buttons on the cash register and explain what each thing means. Your basic information. The day everyone should be nervous and scared is the second day because now you know all the information to get you through the day and the second day is the day you get to apply it and use the knowledge you remembered from the first day.
My second day was actually better than the first. Learning the register wasn't very hard. Both days i worked were slow days which means every person who came to the counter i had to help them and get practice. It was quite nice!
I love the people i work with, they are funny and they set a good example on what i should do and how to interact with customers. One of my managers Melissa is hilarious, she is a jabber, she talks to everyone. Her husband Doug is also a great guy. i love working with him because we have a joking relationship, which keeps work fun! and in a way he reminds me of Paul, who i love dearly! so far i love my job, it's going to get harder but better during the summer, but luckily Bradley will be up here in a month to help out!

Birthday
As most of you know. i had a birthday this last sunday! it was a day i had the chance to reflect on my life. What a great life i have lived and grown up in. My whole family is supportive and loving they are always looking out for me and wanting to do my best in every and i couldn't ask for better friends.
First to my Extended family. You all are amazing, i know we are not very close, but you still have a huge influence in my life whether you know it or not!
Next, my intermediate family. You are always calling and asking me what my plans are and what is new in my life, you are always interested in what i have to say. After all when you're in college you ALWAYS have a story to tell!
Last, To my grandparents. You are very special people in my life. A smile always come to my face when you are talked about. When i come and visit i see you live your life day by day and i realized that i'll probably doing the same thing later in life, it's a good both my grandparents are proactive. You are great examples of always have the gospel in your life. Putting our Lord Savior Jesus Christ first in your lives.
Thank you everyone! you are all amazing people and i love you all!

Matress stealing
One beautiful night my roommates and i deicided to "borrow" one of our friends mattresses for one night. Here is us celebrating our success!
Although the boys we "borrowed" the mattresses from didn't think it was very funny, but it was totally worth it and as you can see we thought it was HILARIOUS! and fun!
Snow Lodge Apt #4
Here is another wonderful dance my roommates had fun. in case you were wondering NO! the black person is not a guy, it's my roommate Vanessa. Pretty good costume huh?

Charol Fight
My roommates and i have been to some pretty fun bon fires, but this one takes the cake. We didn't have anything to roast our marshmellows on except sticks. The only sticks around had charcol all over them so after we finished our marshmellows we had a charcol fight. We stayed as a team, just like charile's angels!
