Ukraine Trip

I'M GOING TO UKRAINE but i need your help.... I'm planning on going to Ukraine next spring, but i need to raise money. My first way is asking for contributions. If you contribute $75 or more The International Language Program (ILP) will give you a receipt of contribution verifying that your contribution is tax-deductible.
I'm also selling Greeting Cards. There will be four in package and each package will be sold for $5.00. This is Sam, he lives in Apt #9. One night when my roommates are talking we hear music playing in our apartment, but it's a song we haven't heard in a while(sorry i don't remember the name of the song, but it sounded like a slow love song from Barry White, however i could be mistaken) so we turn our heads and we see Sam walking toward us in this outfit!!! We started laughing because we know EXACTLY what he is wearing....his SILK pajamas with his SILK robe. Sam is the only boy we know that owns silk pajamas AND a silk robe. Crazy things happen in college!!

Math is everywhere

These lovely bruises are from getting kicked and ran into during indoor soccer. It's my fault though, all i need to do is wear shin guard. the only problem is i didn't have to wear shin guards for such a long time that I'm use to playing with out them. Besides, these kinds of bruises only last a week of so.

Once again from soccer....i was defending this guy whom i was only two feet away from and he wanted to try and toe punch it over me. Well let's think if I'm TWO FEET in front of him and wants to chip it ACROSS the field to him teammates to try and score? He has another thing coming, i guess me must of fail geometry because instead of chipping it to his teammates, he chipped it into my FACE!!! He didn't calculate how far away i needed to be in order from him to chip it OVER me not INTO me! Luckily i had my camera on hand in my backpack!!!

Inside Look!

This is one of my roommate Caci. The Relief Society was having enrichment at someones house. During a dead part of enrichment Caci turns to me and says "can you hand me that camera." i give her the camera wondering what she is going to do with it....Well here is my answer, she wanted to get an inside look at a washer while in progress!

Most people who blog are married with kids and can blog about them. Well i don't have kids, i only have roommates SO i decided i will blog about my roommates like they are my kids! After all they are like family to me!

I had to put this picture up of my roommate Melanie and her boyfriend Nate. I think they are hilarious. They are always doing funny stuff and they obviously don't like being original!

This is the guy i ask. His name is Cory Christensen and NO we are not going out. our apt thinks he likes another one of our roommates! I picked him because i knew he would be a fun SAFE date! haha

BIG NEWS FOR SNOW COLLEGE!

A rumor has been going around saying that Snow College is going to be building a new library. I heard that rumor last year and this year i hear more buzzing about it. Well the fact is it's true. The new library is going to have four floors, be in a different location on campus(basically across a parking lot distance) and be better organized all around. i don't find a problem with the library that is already existing. It has three floors and doesn't need to be torn down. Paul Ordyna studied in this library to pass all his classes and i plan on doing the same! I'm not even going to be here when the new library is done so why am i complaining? Well i think we could of used that money to build the library to keep employment here at the school. Snow College already had to make a %5 teacher cut and thanks to the economy we had to make another %15 teacher cut(don't quote me on those Statistics, but i know it was a lot). I don't feel like we need a new library. I don't like change in small town, i think it loses it's value as a small town look!

First Week back to school

Since i missed the first week of school because of my Mississippi trip i had some catching up to do. Oh boy what a week i had, the work wasn't that bad; once i turned in my first assignments I felt pretty good. It was the events that i wasn't too fond of. The picture above is an object you might use daily or you should at least recognize it, yes it's a mechanical pencil. A pencil that is more preferred to use by Students because of it's wonderful grip at the point and the fine print it gives when you write. Well I am one of those students! Last week I was using a mechanical pencil to do homework. I used the lead stick to the point where i had to take it out...i did, but i threw that extra lead on the floor(like i always do). Later that night i went swimming with my roommates and when i got back i went to check my phone to see if someone called me. My room was dark, but i knew exactly where my phone was. i went straight to my bed when all of a sudden i feel something stab me in the foot! I hoped out of my room to the light and saw that inch lead stick IN MY FOOT!!! luckily i don't get sick over those things like my mom does, i just calmly pulled it out and couldn't believe how far it went in my foot. My foot then started bleeding and was a little tender the next day...don't worry mom and dad i don't have lead poisoning i just had a small black hole in my foot for a couple of days!
